How do you know that your student has internalized your lesson?

When he starts drawing on the wall 🤣

Yesterday, I taught Yoshi, my first grader student how to draw the face of a boy using the letters from the word boy. He was so fascinated by it that he kept practicing until he finally got it just right.
By the end of the lesson, we were both quite satisfied with his progress and left it at that.

Today, his mom sent me a picture and said he had been drawing the boy art everywhere. 🤣

I honestly didn’t realize the extent of that learning until I saw the photo she sent.
Moments like these truly warm the heart.

壁にまで絵を描き始めた時です🤣

昨日、私は小学1年生の生徒のヨシくんに、「boy」という単語の文字を使って男の子の顔を描く方法を教えました。
彼はとても夢中になり、上手に描けるようになるまで何度も練習していました。授業の終わりには、私は彼の成長にとても満足して、その日はそこでレッスンを終わりました。

そして今日、お母さんから写真が送られてきて、「あちこちにその男の子の絵を描いています🤣」と言われました。

写真を見て初めて、どれだけ学びが身についていたのかを実感しました。
こういう瞬間は本当に心が温かくなります。
